    Responsibilities

    The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to:

     

    1. Greets patients in a friendly and welcoming manner. Creates a positive first impression. Smiles, projects a positive attitude.

    2. Through the continuous improvement standards of practice and by providing a safe and secure environment the patient will be assured a sense of safety and well-being, free from risk and harm.

    3. Under the direction and guidance of Director and/or Nursing Supervisors, schedules via the telephone, field employees for available shifts.

    4. Responsible for entering work orders and schedules into computer and making changes when appropriate.

    5. Responsible for entering patient intakes into the computer.

    6. Communicates with employees as needed.

    7. Responsible for communicating all patient/employee related issues and problems to Supervisor.

    8. Nurture by supporting all patients. Acts with courtesy, care, concern and compassion.

    9. Educates others by sharing knowledge and expertise.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent

     

    Professional Experience:

    • 1 year of related work experience
    • Good organizational skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Secretarial/Administrative/Clerical experience required
